Elie Jolliet studied organ, choral conducting, church music, and historical keyboard instruments in Bern and Lausanne. Since March 2026, he has been organist and music director at the Reformed St Peter’s Church in Zurich, and since 2020 conductor of the ThomasChor Köniz (the church choir of the Reformed parish of Köniz); he also gives concerts as a soloist, chamber musician and choir conductor.
In addition to his musical practice, he is academically engaged in church music and serves on various international church music committees. As part of his PhD thesis at the University of Bern, he is researching Bernese hymnals from the 17th to 19th centuries.
