The annual meetings of the Hymn Society of Great Britain and Ireland (HSGBI) and the Hymn Society in the United States and Canada (HSUSC) give IAH members from those regions a forum for exchange and working together during the time between IAH study conferences. Similarly, regional conferences provide opportunities for members of other geographic and linguistic regions to exchange ideas about hymnological research.

Members from other regions are cordially invited to organize further regional conferences. The IAH board will support them insofar as is possible.
