The IAH is associated with the editorship of the Jahrbuch für Liturgik und Hymnologie.
The IAH publishes a Bulletin, usually once a year, in which conference presentations and reports on current research projects are printed.
Twice a year, members receive information on organizational matters, meetings, publications, and internal concerns in the IAH Mitteilungen (newsletter) issued by the secretary.
In 1997 the IAH published a multilingual ecumenical hymnal entitled UNISONO: A Multilingual Book of Ecumenical Hymns (Graz: Zeitpunkt Schnider, 1997). Its successor is Colours of Grace (Munich: Strube, 2006), published by the Community of Protestant Churches in Europe (CPCE) in association with the IAH.
